Yes, I was surprised as you are to find out that Bit-O-Honey candy is still being made, albeit by the evil Nestle people. I forget why Nestle is evil [apartheid?], but that Dan le Sac song says "though shalt not buy Nestle products..."
I remember thinking this a very fall-ish treat when I was a wee lad, and the general gentle nostalgic nature of B.O.H. even then, at less-than-10, bespoke a better time than the late 70s when I first partook. Things only got worse, nostalgia-wise. Like most, I'm paralyzed at the awfulness of today...what was I saying?
OH! Well, I've not had any in, god, twenty years, and realized today that it would probably go great with coffee. Maybe I will. Maybe I will.
