Grant/Mason

Going to see Charade tomorrow night. Sort of a Hitchcock knock-off, with a MacGuffin-y plot about stamps (!) and a scheme to get some lame amount of 1963-era "big" money (like, $65,000 - wouldn't it be easier to just get a job at a Stereo On Wheels for a couple of years?), but still fun.

It will remind me, though, that I am not watching North by Northwest, which is probably the greatest summer movie ever (no. 2: Clash of the Titans).

This exchange is the greatest thing EVER:

CG: Suppose I tell you that I not only know when you're leaving the country
tonight...but the latitude and longitude of your rendezvous, and your
ultimate destination.

JM: You wouldn't care to carry my bags, would you?
